The Community Foundation of Southeastern Connecticut and the Community Foundation of the Tri-County Area have merged to serve the 42 cities and towns of New London, Windham, and the eastern half of Tolland counties*.
“We spent a year researching, discussing, and designing a new, unified model of philanthropy for all of eastern Connecticut,” reported Community Foundation Board Chair Laurel Butler. “We needed a single institution that could be respectful of the individuality of each of the towns, remain flexible and creative, and yet be cost efficient. We’re confident we’ve found it.”
*We will serve the towns of…
Ashford, Bozrah, Brooklyn, Canterbury, Chaplin, Colchester, Columbia, Coventry, Eastford, East Lyme, Franklin, Griswold, Groton, Hampton, Killingly, Lebanon, Ledyard, Lisbon, Lyme, Mansfield, Montville, New London, North Stonington, Norwich, Old Lyme, Plainfield, Pomfret, Preston, Putnam, Salem, Scotland, Sprague, Stafford, Sterling, Stonington, Thompson, Union, Voluntown, Waterford, Willington, Windham, and Woodstock
Please pardon our dust!
